She is facing the viewer towards the foot end of the bed, on the wall behind her is a large drawing. There is a wooden chair with a water bottle on it to the left of the bed. The wall to her right is a wooden brown colour and seems to be covered in pictures.
Deep, warm colours are mixed into the background, with cooler, lighter tones in her clothes, which create a subtle contrast. The acrylic paint is unevenly splotched onto the cardboard, simplifying details to rugged, colourful shapes and making the objects in the room nearly indistinguishable from one another
