The painting presents a sunny landscape with mountains and large conifers and lush green meadows in the foreground. The bright blue sky has fluffy white clouds floating towards the center of the painting, coming out from behind the mountains in the background. The outer two of the three rugged mountain peaks are kept in blueish grey, whereas the mountain in the middle, which is further in the background, is painted in brown.
The bottom of the image is filled with a meadow in a vibrant green.
The painting is painted in an impasto style, using only a palette knife to mix and apply the oil paint to the canvas.
