Aquarelle and pencil on paper, 15x21cm, March 2019

The sketchbook page visualises the girl’s point of view. There is a door on the left which has pieces of paper stuck onto it. A small strip of wooden floor is visible at the bottom of the frame. The rest of the image shows a dull, grey wall which is bare for the most part, with the exception of a mirror and a purse to its right. In the mirror you can see a rough sketch of the same scene shown on the left page.
The sketch is drawn with pencil and coloured with aquarelle paint. The mirror’s surroundings painted with muddy, dark colours. Only the mirror’s reflection is painted in light pastel tones, setting it apart from the surrounding room.
