I was doodling little faces when I had the idea to hide a face within a face, which I liked so much that I immediately sketched it and then drew it a second time on a larger piece of paper in ink, taking a little bit more time to put more effort into creating a finished piece.
The abstract shapes around the small, elvish head create a larger face; the two black triangles at the top of the picture are eyes, the shape of the small head depicts a nose while the collar with its triangle represents lips.
